Vern Klassen
Owning partner/Operations Manager

Vern has been in the construction industry in Wichita for over 30 years. He has managed the remodeling division of Goentzel construction for several years as well as being the owner/operator of Vern Klassen Construction Incorporated. He is a qualified expert in the areas of construction supervision, planning and estimating. He has a proven track record in sales and building client relationships, and is very well connected throughout the Wichita business and construction communities. Vern has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wichita State University. Vern is actively involved in community organizations such as Rotary, Ronald McDonald House and Habitat for Humanity.

Rodney Holeman
Owning partner/Administration Manager/Production Manager

Rodney (Rod) has been working with the ITI team for 7 years. He previously ran his own construction company after 30 years as a machinist. Rodney is a licensed contractor and certified project manager. His wife, Bonnie, is also a contractor who specializes in closets and storage spaces.                  

Mike Schoneweis
Lead Carpenter

Mike has been working with the ITI team as a lead carpenter for 12 years. He has a vast knowledge of remodeling construction and the proper attitude it takes to produce quality work. In his spare time, Mike practices ministry and is an avid outdoorsman.

Lisa Mikel
Office Manager

Lisa has run the central information hub of ITI for the past two years. She comes from the Hotel industry where she learned about administration detailing, public relations and book keeping. She is currently less than a full-time semester away from her Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Wichita State University. Lisa is a mother of two and has an interest in antique cars.

Nina Schmidt
Design Assistant

Nina has been a part of the ITI team since 2010. She obtained her interior design degree with a scholarship from the Wichita Area Technical College. While at WATC, Nina was able to participate with fellow students in the design of a guest bedroom in the 2009 Symphony Showhouse. One of her main abilities is to create computer generated floorplans, elevations, and perspectives which greatly assists clients in visualizing their completed project before the work even begins. You will rarely find Nina without her 25’ tape measure! Even in her spare time, Nina helps at her church in children’s ministries and design improvements.“
